I'm having a problem getting the most important feature of the "In Modern Times" Enhanced CD program to work on my computer. That feature would be the music video. I have the latest version of Apple Quicktime already installed on my computer, yet there is no picture or sound present, only the photo and graphics that surround what's supposed to be the image of the music video. All the other features of this Enhanced CD program (biography, catalog, etc.) work just fine.

Are the rest of you having the same problem, or is the music video feature working for you? Let me hear from you.

I have unfortunately not gotten that C.D. yet, but all of my enhanced C.D.'s that I have from many different artists are touch and go, anyhow. Most of them have a contact either by computer or phone to call with technical questions in the liner notes, does yours? Look around and see....those usually are very helpful when you contact them. Check it out and see!

Hope that helped you some,

I don't have Apple Quicktime..it took a long time to download on my home PC and seemed like a pain to just watch this one feature..
and I can't download it on the 'puters at work which are faster but people cough up furballs if you download anything, even on your own office PC..so I haven't seen it yet either.

Shannon, dear one...take the time to download Quicktime! Vacuum or do the dishes or something else while it's downloading ( can't believe anyone's 'puter is slower than this troglodite I have!) Quicktime is so damned cool!

One really neat feature it has that I have yet to see one of Bill Gates thingy's do is this panoramic, 3-D thing that I have used on my Alan Parson's "On Air" disc ( excellent, for music and the enhanced one, and get this...the enhanced part of this C.D.is it's own C.D., seperate from the music C.D....wish all artists would do this). There is this one section of this enhanced disk of Alan's that is him in the studio, mixing stuff, right? Well, you point your mouse on the pic, hold down the right mouse button and pull it around on the screen, and it literally turns around, 360 degrees and let's you see the whole room. But, you have to do this SLOWLY, because, strangely enough, it comes through so real, you can get dizzy doing this! I found out the hard way!

The only other place I have seen this done, though I'm sure they use this on all sorts of things, is on this "Welcome To Oregon" site I have, if you go to this park that's not far from my house called "Champoeg Park" and you go to their cycling section, it has this same 360 degree panoramic view thingy. So very cool! Plus, it is just so good at the graphics and sound of an enhanced C.D. Believe me,Shannon, take the time, or any of you others out there....believe me, it's worth the time and effort. Just awesome stuff they have going on at Apple these days!

The video is only about a minute of live Groovin' for Grover. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Yep, I'm having the same problem with mine too. But if it's like Rob says, it's ok!!!

I concur with Anita on QuickTime. It is 10-to-1 better than RealPlayer, or even Windows Media Player, in my opinion. I have cable modem and love watching the crystal clear movie trailers at www.quicktime.com. It is a great app!
