I am happy when when get any interviews, articles, reviews ect, reguarding Spyro Gyra...but I hope Jazziz makes ammends for two pieces of mis-information included in the comments of "Capetown Love" in the CD sampler section:

First, it is Andy Narell on steel drums on the studio take of that song, not Schuuu(though Schuu handles the part expertly on the live takes).

Second...the comment pidegeon-holing Spyro Gyra as a "smooth jazz" band...c'mon guys!!! Call em jazz, call em contemporary jazz, just don't label them smooth, as it does a dis-service to the many types of music and jazz that informs Spyro's main jumping off point.

I hope that the review in next months Jazziz will correct those two bits of mis-info.
